Blueberry Coffee Cake

Cake:

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 4 cups flour
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 cups blueberries

Topping:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup butter
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Using an electric mixer, beat the 1/2 cup butter and 1 1/2 cups sugar together until fluffy. Beat in the eggs, then blend in the milk.
  3. In another bowl, mix together the 4 cups flour, baking powder, and salt. Then add them to the mixer and stir in until well blended.
  4. Mix in the berries until well distributed.
  5. Put into a greased 10x12inch pan.
  1. In a small bowl, combine the 1 cup sugar, cinnamon, and 1/2 cup flour.
  2. Cut in the 1/2 cup butter until crumbly.
  3. Sprinkle over the top of the coffee cake.
  4. Bake at 375 degrees for about 45 minutes.
