Puerto Rico Beans and Rice

Makes 8 Servings


  • 2 can pinto beans, drained
  • 1 can water
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 2 potatoes, cut into bite size pieces
  • 1 small jar green olives
  • 2 tablespoon sofrito, green salsa
  • 2 envelopes of Sazon
  • 3 teaspoons chicken bouillon cubes

Combine pinto beans, water, sauce, potatoes, green salsa, chicken bouillon cubes. Boil for 20 minutes, or until potatoes are tender. Add Sazon and green olives. Serve over white rice.
