White Bread


  • 2 1/4 cups warm water
  • 1 heaping tablespoon yeast
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • 6 cups flour
  • 4 tablespoons of butter
  1. Combine the yeast and warm water. Add remaining ingredients.
  2. Use 4 tablespoons of softened butter on your hands while kneading and incorporate butter into the dough. Knead for 3-5 minutes and then form into 2 loaves.
  3. Place in greased bread pan and let rise until it doubles. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
