Chinese Asparagus

Ingredients:

  • 2 bunches asparagus spears
  • 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Directions:

  1. Wash asparagus well and cut diagonally.  Saute asparagus in oil for 5 minutes.  Combine cornstarch and water.  Add all ingredients to the asparagus and simmer.
