Cranberry Bread Pudding


  • 1 1/3 cups flour
  • 2 cups fresh cranberries
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 2 teaspoons soda
  • 1/4 cup Karo syrup
  • 1/3 cup boiling water


  1. Sprinkle flour on berries in a bowl and stir.
  2. Add molasses, soda, Karo syrup, and boiling water and stir.
  3. Steam pudding in can covered with foil in a pot of boiling water with lid.  Steaming for 1 1/2 hours.


  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • 1/2 cup butter


  1. Boil for 5 minutes.  Slice bread pudding and pour sauce on top.
