1 1/4 cups hot water
1 Tbs. yeast (sprinkle over hot water)
1 Tbs. sugar (sprinkle after yeast)
1 tsp. salt
3 Tbs. oil
3 cups flour
Soften yeast in hot water sprinkled with sugar. Add salt and oil. Stir in flour. Mix well. Let rise 30 minutes. Spread out on greased jelly roll or pizza pan.
I usually just make the dough and then let it raise while I make the chicken mixture.
Chicken Black Bean Pizza
1 large pizza crust
1/2 cup thick and chunky salsa
1 cup diced chicken
1 can (15 ounce) black beans, drained
1/4 cup chopped cilantro
1/4 teaspoon cumin
Top crust with chicken mixture and sprinkle with:
2 chopped green onions
1/2 cup red peppers, cut in strips
shredded cheddar cheese
Heat oven to 350. Bake pizza for 30 minutes. Serve with guacamole and sour cream garnish.
The crust recipe says 425 for 20 minutes…I usually do 350 for a little over 30. But see what works for you.
