Raisin Bread

Ingredients:

  • 10 to 11 ounces of water
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cups bread flour
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons dry milk
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1 cup raisins

Glaze

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1-2 tablespoons water or milk
  • 1 teaspoon butter, softened
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:

  1. Measure all ingredients into a bread loaf pan in the order listed above.  Select Basic setting.  (Medium Crust setting).  Press Start button.   When finished remove from pan.
  2.  In a separate bowl, combine all ingredients for the glaze and spread on warm bread.
