Caramels

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 3/4 cup Karo syrup
  • 16 ounces light brown sugar (1 box)

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in medium pan.  Stir to boil.
  2. On medium low heat boil for 10 minutes, stirring constantly.
  3. Pour into buttered 9×13 pan. Let cool.
  4. Optional- add 1 cup of nuts.
