Licorice Caramels

Ingredients:

  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 cup Karo Syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon licorice flavoring
  • 3/4 teaspoon black food coloring

Instructions:

  1. Combine condensed milk, sugar butter and Karo Syrup and cook stirring constantly to 234 degrees.  Remove from heat.  Add flavoring and coloring.  Pour into a greased 8×8 inch pan.
